I left the house at 4:15 am, when I arrived the sky was clear, and the stars filled the sky. I set up and began taking a few shots, then the low fog moved in, just enough to catch the light emitted from the lighthouse. I exposed long enough to provide ample time to create the domes.
I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.
I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.
