what do you like and dislike on these long exposure images?

water to lava.

I'll just give quick answers. Lightning round!

1) Like: the motion in the water, and the overall composition is solid

Dislike: The tree seems a little small while trying to be the subject. I know you can't adjust the size of the tree, but I think you could lose a bit of the sky and zoom in more on the tree to help it stand out a little more.

2) I already talked about this one in the other group

3) Like: Technically sound, great exposure and subject

Dislike: The composition is OK, but the one in number 5 is much better. I think it's because of the colour in the sky of number 5 vs the darkness of 3.

4) Like: Pretty much everything

Dislike: Not really a dislike, but you could shave off some of the right, as it gets a little redundant. It would also help bring the focus more to the fire and stars.

5) Like: Everything, stunning shot.

Dislike: If I have to nit-pick, it seems to be focused on the dark foreground, leaving the fire slightly out of focus, but I can overlook that, given the circumstances.

6) Like: Location is nice, lots to work with here.

Dislike: Not a huge fan of the guys on the right. For me, in a landscape, people are used best to show scale or tell a story, but they don't do either for me, here. Also, the interesting parts, the water and rocks seem a little too dark. You could bump up the shadows.

7) Like: sorry, not much

Dislike: Composition isn't great, and it's out of focus.

Hope that helps!
