Hi all I recently tried for my first time to take some light trail photos of the car light what do you think of them?
You can be harsh because I would like to improve.
these were shot on a pentax k-x whith a 18-55 lense a shuter speed of 30s and about f stop of about 14.
I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.
I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.

The exposure of the lights themselves are pretty good.
My advice to is find an interesting subject for the light streaks to enhance, rather than as the subject themselves.
