I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.
The Sun and the Moon: Edited to add last photo
I wanted to see how my 50 year old Canon FD 800mm f/5.6 s.s.c. would handle photographing both the Sun and the Moon.

I don't normally shoot directly towards the sun, but...

They appear quite dark when viewed on my iPad - I like the first and last shots the most. I would like to see a higher exposure on the final shot to get a little more detail in the foreground but darker in the distance to pick out the cloud and land. Perhaps a mask running top to bottom dark to light may be an interesting application.
The black sand beaches make a fantastic background for the ice chunks, 2 and 3 are stunners.
