Hey guys, this is my second attempt at a shot I took in may of 2019 and I am looking to get your opinions on the image. I've had people say that it is "too bright" and I want to know what you guys think. If you need any information about the shot let me know. Thank you for your time.
As a photographer and artist, It's your art, and your vision for the image.
As for too bright... you do have some blown out areas that really monopolize the eye - it's just hard to pull away from them. I would try to bring those highlights down. The snow on the ground was really confusing me at first. I looked like water. You might try raising the camera some. It would help if there were a walkway visible to "ground" it. Finally - I would also straighten the image - rotate it a little counter-clockwise.
It's a pretty building, I like where you are going with it. I've spent my share of cold nights laying on the ground trying to get an image like this! Keep working on it!
