The stream became a torrent

I live in Caledon, South Africa which is next to a small free standing mountain and at the base of it you find a neglected wildflower garden and nature reserve. The alien plant and tree species in it sucks up so much from the water table that this stream is usually a trickle unless it rains a lot then it shows off. My favourite spot to photograph in this river is at this old bridge which is now probably almost a 100 years old.

I focus-stacked 3 images (way too much) and my shutter speed was 0.8 seconds. Focal length was 24mm and f-stop was 8. We regularly get misty mornings here and I am waiting for the day we have lots of rain topped with mist the next day which I think will make this scene interesting.

Bald Eagle, Eagle Creek, Alaska

We were hiking in the rainforest of Southeast Alaska. Eagles were EVERYWHERE, though at a long distance, along this creek looking for salmon.

Eagle

It was a grey day out in Seabeck, WA. Everyday during low tide, the eagle come out to get the fish. This eagle had just caught a fish, and landed, as he landed, he his wings went straight up.
