Retouching Techniques
Good morning, I'm practicing my retouching and applying new techniques, I need everyone opinions on where I can improve. First off I did not take these pictures, they are from a retouching guide through Phlearn.
This photo was retouched using Frequency Separation with surface blur and a low flow brush using skin tones throughout the face. I also added a couple layers of High Pass you increase the detail of the photo. I usually use Frequency Separation but want to add different techniques. Let me know what you guys think and where I can improve.

Well done...because, well not overdone.
Depends on the end result you wanted.. personally I miss the freckles in this one. Its also a bit oversharpend in the hair. I would sharpen the face only for getting the pores back. Nevertheless it could be because of the low rez it seems overscharpend
thank you for you input, I was a little upset when I lost the freckles and couldn't figure out how to keep the freckles but still make the skin smooth
