Trying to get discovered

I'm a professional photographer from far western NY. I've managed to take advantage of my trips to New York City to get some pretty good shots. But my main business is real estate photography. I'm still trying to get discovered in the travel and architectural fields. I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions on how to get noticed :)

Wow! Your post caught my eye because of the very distinct style you have and the beautifully brilliant colors in your images! The last one is my personal favorite. I can't answer your question; however I wanted to direct you to 2 of my favorite travel posts from fstoppers. One is about traveling wedding photography (which is clearly unrelated to your field; however I would imagine the premise is the same) and the other is by one of my favorite travel photographers in the community. Hope these help!

P.S. If you figure out the magic formula, please let me know! (:

You need to build up a good real estate portfolio.
See if any of your friends/partners/neighbors are selling their house, offer to take photos for them ( even for free if they seem reluctant or don't have the budget to pay you, it will be for your benefit anyway ), place a small signature/copyright on the photos, and have the house listed on various real estate agencies & websites such as realtor.com
If your work is good you will slowly attract some potential clients.
