Camera settings:
Shutterspeed: 1/125
Aperture: F / 2.0
Iso: 100
Lens; 85mm

Lightsettings:
On the left I put down a studio lamp with an octabox, instead of turning the lamp on, I turned off the studio lamp of the subject and softened the light on the model by the translucent part of the reflector between the model and to turn on the lamp.
Right back I have a studio lamp, this lamp I pointed to the right wall which is equipped with white wallpaper, which creates diffuse light.

I myself am always a big fan if you can significantly reduce the distance to the model, so you can enhance the impact of the photo.
That his full head is not completely visible on the photo, I find less important than having contact with the model and the message in the photo even more powerful.

The light is cool, the expresson of the model is a but boring and I'm not really fond of the shallow depth of field which makes his ear and cloth unnecessary blurry.

Nice shot. I like how the focus on the eye emphasizes the contact. One recommendation I have would be to move the subject up toward the camera a touch so the the light on the right will still get the good rimlight but it does not show on his nose. Great photograph.
