Did a photo shoot with a friend of mine. She insisted she was going to look terrible but after a few photos she loved it and posed for a few hours. These are the basic photos of her. We have a few more fun ones that I will post later.
Would love feedback on what I am doing well and what I can to improve.
Randy here's some requested feedback. The first photo looks really nice. I like the composition, the lighting, the focus on the front eye and falloff to the back eye. The second photo I'm not liking and I think it has to do with the lighting. The light from the right seems too strong and here face seems flat. There are no highlights and shadow on her face. The two catch lights are also a little off. In fact for the camera right eye it almost looks like there are 3 catch lights due to the strong side lighting. Perhaps if she was opened up towards the light instead of having her back to the strong light would give a little more contrast across her face. Of course these are just my thoughts and who am I to say I know anything.
Douglas Turney, thank you for the feedback. I see what you mean about the 2nd photo, too bright on the sode not enough front light to provide higlights and shadows. Thanks for the compliment on the first shot.
