Opinions on this picture?

Hi :)
I took this picture today whilst out on a walk with my friend and I'd love to hear peoples opinions, constructive criticism, etc.
I took the picture with a 50mm f1.8, shot wide open because the background was quite cluttered.
I did some light editing in Lightroom and then colour graded the image in Photoshop.
I positioned my model in the best light I could find (diffuse and soft but not casting the colour of the surrounding plants onto her).
The portrait was taken in natural light only.

Thanks for any opinions :)

The subject is underexposed compared to the background. I would have bumped the exposure a full stop and a half to blow out the background and have the subject exposed right. Or used a fill flash to bring up the exposure on the subject.

Hi.
Thanks for the advice, I tried out bumping the exposure up but honestly it really didn't work particularly well, the background was just too blown out and I didn't like the effect too much. But I definitely agree with you on the flash, I definitely should have used one and it would have helped with keep the subject exposed right compared to the surroundings. :)

Overall I love the image. I agree with Anand KS that your subject is a little too under exposed. Fill flash will up your photography game considerably but if you don't want use flash you might try turning your model the opposite direction while in that shadow so the sunlight will light up your subject with out being full on direct sunlight. Pretty location. Where was this taken if you don't mind me asking?

Hi. Sorry I've taken so long to respond, I kept getting an error message when I tried to reply.
Thanks for the advice.
I'll have to try using flashes more going forward, I never really think to use them because my shooting is generally pretty spontaneous and unplanned but looking at this picture it definitely would have helped :)
I don't know how specific you want when it comes to the location haha. It was just shot in a path in some woods in Sheffield (England).
