I just sign up to this community after just reading articles and lookin tutorial from Fstoppers.
It's about one year that i'm doing portrait photography, i've done landscape photography for years and doing some assitance work as second shooter at some wedding (reportage style).
All this just to say that i'd like to know your opinion about this picture. I'd really apreciate your advice about this shot.
I'm thinking your a fantastic photographer but I can't get past the hair covering her eyes completely... maybe its just me? Everything else about this shot is great. I think its about what your going for....is it a beauty shot or mystery and if its beauty then definitely have some eyes showing (open or closed) ...if its mystery then use something else besides hair, like a low hat or blindfold or I don't know. The hair makes me think of her as chewbacca. Does this help?
Hi, tank you for your opinion. I think that i was focusing in this image on the mouth. That beacause i think her mouth, her lips, are the most fascinating and sensual part of her body. When i say, during the shooting, to play with her hairs, she start moving them in various ways, and then she put them upon her face like a mask, as seen in this shot. So i stopped her, 'cause the only think that keep my attention was her beautiful mouth. And so came this shot. the background is the water of a pool. ;)
