I often love portraits on stairs, and I have no idea why. Maybe it is the "where do the stairs lead to" feeling. However, in this picture, with the person, my eyes are drawn right to her legs and then the white SUV, then her hair. Probably because her legs are dominant, and then the SUV is the biggest and brightest thing, then her hair. I bet that's not what you want. Not sure how many stairs there were but I bet it might have worked better if she was down a few more (I know, the awesome light would not reach there I figure). Maybe the pose would have worked better if the SUV was not there since her face is partially hidden. On my crappy monitor I am looking at the pic on her right hand (w/o the watch) looks blurry.
It's a nice picture, but as far as 2 cents of constructive criticism...there ya go.
