Lighting looks pretty decent. Her expression is off. Like she is looking at you for guidance and assurance. You should be talking and telling her what to do almost the whole time. My guess is you were to focused on the camera and not enough on her. Keep working at it. Takes practice.

I've heard it suggested that it's a good idea in most instances to have the eyes point in the same direction as the nose. Something to perhaps think about. Maybe instead of turning her head away, she could have turned a shoulder towards you at a slight angle and then faced the camera straight on?

Great engagement from the model and the lighting is pretty good. I wonder what a reflector camera left to provide a bit more fill would have looked like.

Good insights Daniel. I probably need to prepare more. This was the look I was after. But, it would have been a good idea to hash out/mood board more looks.

Expression should match the lighting. know what mood you want then go for it. Loosen her up a bit with some music or with talking, she looks stiff. review the photos with her to get on the same page, make adjustments, then go again.

I can't see past the makeup.
The eyes are way too white for the lighting, and the coloring on the face is all over. Blue, red, peach, white.

I feel that these denim shots are better served with milkier skin tones.
