Hi All. As a huge fan of the Dutch Golden Age painters such as Hals, Vermeer and Rembrandt I've tried to recreate the same mood and painterly feel in a series of studio portraits. Although my inspiration goes back to the 17th century the series has a definite modern twist.
These are quite nice. I'm assuming single light source?
It might be two. In all the shots there's definitely some kind of secondary light source. In the first, the shoulders. The second, around the hair and neck. Third, camera right around the hair and model's right hand. It's very subtle.
