Studio Portrait

Hi :)
I took this portrait of my friend a few days ago and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
I used a studio light with the diffuser removed to add contrast across the face and give a dramatic feel to the image.
Something about it feels pretty cinematic to me, I think it might be the colours combined with the strong lighting and shadows.

The picture is relatively unedited, All I've done is very minor Lightroom edits (raised overall contrast by 10, dropped blacks by 5, raised whites by 10)

Vintage Lens

Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
