A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)
For iPhone users - a new version of Bluristic has dropped (v1.8) which offers new features and significant improvements in stability & useability.
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5.
NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

You should keep an eye on white balance!
That is something I forget about haha. I thought i had it set to cloudy, for these.
Just use auto settings, I'm sure your camera can handle it without problem. Reckon you shoot jpg and not RAW? You can change temperature of colors in post if you forget to set it right :)
I shoot in Raw/Fine.
Aside from adjusting it to, say, cloudy, in my camera, I don't know what else to do.
You could set it to a manual color temp of somewhere between 5200k and 5500k and it should be relatively fine (whether cloudy or sunny). If nothing else it'll get you really close to the general ballpark and can just slightly refine further in post. These are really cute pictures but look more like casual snapshots than a "photo shoot". To get better images, try to be aware of backgrounds, angles, colors, expressions, and drool. :)
Thanks for the advice! Yeah, photo shoot is probably poor wording haha. It was, to me, but I was really just hangin with my friend and his daughter. I tried to be somewhat professional about it.
