Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

What lens did you use? An anamorphic lens mounted on your camera or a software to create the effect?
These were with the Anamorphot Compact on a 35mm. I’m not sure I got the desqueeze ratio correct yet. Doing the math of 1.33x resulted in the images looking too wide. But this looks too narrow.
I’ll be working on it.
I was affraid you'd say with a software!
If I look closely your ratio is good, if not perfect it's very close. I base my observations on her sunglasses, she appears thin but name me a woman wants to look "wider", in the end you're the one who was there and knows.
Out of curiosity how close were you from her?
