Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Look, I don't want to bash on your images but it seems like you put more accent on the gear you have and use than on the quality of the final image. I feel the model is underexposed and the dark shadows on her neck and arms could have been filled more. If you look closely at her face, and people will do that because you shot with you almighty d810 (man you love your sharpness), it almost feels like it's furry and the excess quantity of makeup does not help you. In my opinion you should focus more on the retouching and less on detailing every single piece of equipment used.
too much make up on her facw plus the dark shadow above her eyes interfer
