Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

This would be nice without her hand in the picture - it's doing nothing for the image IMO except making her look like a newbie model. The skin retouching should be reduced by about 50% or more, and the green/gray cast on her chest should be corrected at least a little. Agencies prefer their model portraits to be only lightly edited with little to no color grading added.
Additionally, if you shoot a bit lower - either below the eye line of the model, or at least level with it - you'll make her look taller and like she at least has a neck. Shooting down on people is fine if you want to make their heads slightly bigger in relation to their bodies, but for models, this is rarely an issue.
Hope this helps
Oh those hands, eh Sennia?!?!.... hahaha! :)
Once you start noticing them, you can't stop. :)
It does help. Thanks for the feedback :)
