Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Someone can give me a feedback for one of my portrait shoot ? It's the first time that I take some portrait in black and white and I would like to know what do you think about
That's sort of the funny thing about portraits and lighting. If this is what you were after, you succeeded. If not, you failed. I really don't see anything wrong with the lighting. It's more a matter of taste I guess. These are all my opinion:
Image 1: It's a matter of composition. That bar to the left is distracting. A recompose might have done better or a crop.
Image 2: Same as #1. It's more a matter of composition than lighting.
Images 3 and 4 look fine to me. Maybe a little more light on the face in #4.
