"Super Dad"

Self portrait testing out my new gridded strip boxes and gels. In between client sessions, I often like to do personal projects. If I just do work for clients, I'm afraid I'll lose the drive and passion that I started with. I also get to have fun with different editing styles. I feel this is a necessary step to grow as a photographer as well as an editor. Don't be afraid to try new things, even if it's not great!

Hi Tyler,

You are absolutely right, we go forward as photographers by experimenting new things like new lighting, different editing techniques etc.

On most of my shoots ounce I have the shots I need I tend to experiment into the unknown, sometimes it isn't working at all, sometimes it's very good.

Thanks for the comment Marc. Some of the most prominent artists in the industry do personal projects all the time to keep the creative juices flowing. They even invent new techniques that millions of other artists use over time. That’s how we separate ourselves and mold ourselves into the unique artists we are. Great work by the way. I just took a look at your profile.

Nice profile photos!

Thanks! I actually added a cape and Superman logo on my chest for my Facebook profile. Lol.
