I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Looks too bright, pretty, clean, and safe. And, the make up looks too typical of such events as Day of the Dead festivals.

Since we can't really see her face, there's nothing interesting about the image. Having a solid black background isn't helping. And, her hair at camera right is too bright.
Another thing that would help is more dramatic and/or cinematic lighting. There's a recent article on here about it. This is just one of many possible examples, I think the lighting on the video is more appropriate for the theme you are going for.
