Could use some feedback on a personal project

I guess this isn’t necessarily a portrait but I’m relatively new to using this function of the website and was uncertain about where else to post this, but I’m in the early stages of a personal photo project that I may like to get printed into a book at some point. I’m looking for any feedback really, predominantly in regards to the lighting as I’ve never attempted photos like this before. Final images will likely be B&W

What is the goal of the personal project? I definitely get a bit of a predatory feel with the shadowy shape in the window being the main focus. The secondary subject does seem very close to the edge, but maybe that was intentional? Would love to hear more about what you're wanting to achieve with these!

I am intending to go for a creepy/predatory feel for the bulk of the project, and in a more final version of this photo I would like to have the secondary subject just slightly closer to the center of the frame. Also would like to clean up the “set” some and if I can have more of a silhouette of the subject outside of the window.

If you are going for creepy, you're on target.

Was the reversed scale of the figures intentional?
