I've shot self-portraits before, but I've never attempted character portraits with me as the subject. It was quite an experiment. I really had to step out of my comfort zone for this one and also move around some furniture. Took the photo in our tiny living room with a single Yungnuo speed light and a 85mm Sigma lens. Edited in Lr and Ps, the backdrop is royalty free art. Curious to know what you think :)

The lighting and styling is very nice. The position of the right hand pointing out of frame is a little distracting. Perhaps if the hand had straightened at the wrist so that the fingers point up along the left arm, the line would have led the eye back up to the face.
