This image is a homage to old world paintings. It has a splash of renaissance art feel, with the movement of Romanticism. I specifically picked this model to carry out the theme because she looks like the fits the period. The color harmony compliment each other, and makes the woman pop. The fabric was purchased on sale at Hobby Lobby and the seat was an studio chair. This was lit with a FJ400 by Westott in a white umbrella with diffusion. A white vflat was used as fill near her feet. How did I do?
I would love to be able to get my FJ400 to do this.
With an umbrella with white interior, and diffusion cover...you absolutely can!
Have you ever tried shoot-throughs? I've been wanting to try one of those as well.
I have tried them. I am not crazy about the concentration of light in the middle. Perhaps its more useful to fill a large area with light. But for shooting a person, Id rather have a more even spread of light using a bounce back umbrella
Gorgeous! Well done.
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
