Hi Chris, For me the ring light reflections in the glasses distract my eye from the overall shot..especially as they are not symmetrical in each lens. I find the face is a bit to dark...I would lighten the face up a bit more as I think that is the subject and should be lit as such. It looks like the shot was from slightly higher than the face, or the chin was lowered...might try lowering the camera just a bit and raising the chin. Lastly the helmet gets lost in the background..if the background was a bit lighter it would help define the helmet.
Thanks Michael, all taken on board, first attempt at this kind of shot so I'm happy with it in that respect. hopefully improve in time.

Thank you, i found when i used the dodge tool on the face to bring it out, it went rather red, to compensate this i made a rough selection and de-saturated the reds.
