Beautiful shots. This is a Frigate. I'd love to see one. Great silhouette! I think the bird is best in the first one. It is in the best position. If you could crop in closer - great. If not it is beautiful as is!
Thank you. I'll try and see if I can fill more of the frame with the Frigate. I also have a picture somewhere from about 2006 of a US Navy Frigate that escorted our cruise ship for 2 days out of Galveston. I don't know the details but I do remember hearing some threats had been made against a cruise ship so the US and Mexican Navies were providing protection and wouldn't allow any other boats near ours. While docked they docked beside us and deployed smaller boats with 50 caliber machine guns to patrol around the exposed part of the ship. It was all very neat. The Mexican Army set-up a security checkpoint at the end of the dock and were searching bags and wouldn't allow any of the locals near the pier. We all felt pretty safe. Not sure if they caught the guy that posted the generic threat; but they took it seriously.
