Zygaena lonicerae (5 Spotted Burnet)

As a complete beginner to photography I was very proud of this shot, but if anyone has and advice/suggestions on how I can improve on my wildlife photography I would love to hear from you (be gentle). Taken in Thornes Park, Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Looks pretty good. For suggestions I like to get in closer a Macro lens or a set of extension tubes would really get you in there. If you want do it as a wider shot like you have I would say to try to keep the blade of grass completely in the frame instead of cutting it off. Also keep the horizon line straight, of move the camera up and get it out of the shot completely. In other words watch the edges of the frame and watch the horizon. Hope this helps and hope I wasn't too harsh. just beginner mistakes that everyone makes, keep it up!

agree with Troy that I think insects are always more interesting as macro shots, when possible of course.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback, It's not too harsh at all, I don't mind criticism as long as it's constructive (which it is), so thank you. I'm just a beginner wanting to be better and this really helps, thanks for the tips 👍🏼
