Polar Bear Refelction

Sometimes you have big thoughts about a photo. I've been sailing a lot of times around Svalbard in ice and still waters where i thought of a reflection of a polar bear.
I guess sometimes dreams come true. This day a bear were splashing next to our boat and luckily it was no wind to make a powerful reflection. The bonus was a fresh feast of blood in its face..
Feedback welcome :)

This is a great photo! This dude is a true beast!

Wow, this is a fantastic image! Love it!

Awesome!

When you mention your boat, I think of something tiny like a kayak or a 2 man canoe. But it is evident by the downward angle that you shot this from that you were in a much larger boat, one whose deck was several feet above the water's surface.

The ironic thing is that as wildlife photographers, we normally want to get down as low as possible, for a more dramatic or more intimate view of our subject. And yet it was the great height from which you took this image that enabled it to be such a success, as an angle such at this was necessary to capture the reflection.

I especially appreciate that the Bear's head is aligned with a patch of clear water, and has complete separation from any of the floating ice. This is even true of the raised forepaw, as well .... which is a minor miracle!

Excellently done!
