On the last full day in Iceland, I realized I didn’t have time to keep driving along the Ring Road and booked a puffin tour instead. After two hours of searching and failed photo attempts, I snagged this tempting death while laying out over the edge of a cliff using some manual focus tricks due to the poor frame rate and lackluster autofocus of the 5d2 and a lot of luck.
Glad you lived to tell the tale. My Puffins are only stunt birds. Haha. Yours is the real live wild bird. Must have been an awesome trip. Iceland is on my list.
