While wildlife photography is my preferred category, I find that the abundance of birds species in the area in which I live provides an almost limitless number of subjects to shoot depending on the season. In the new few weeks, I am looking forward to the annual warbler migration.

As a wildlife photographer myself, I much prefer mammals to birds. But birds are so much more available. I mean, finding mammals to shoot is extremely difficult. So I spend most of my time afield photographing birds, and making the most of it and enjoying them ..... but all the while really wishing I could be photographing mammals instead.
