The eagle is the mom from Minnesota's DNR eagle cam. On this day, the temps were mid 90's, humidity was way up, and she was just looking for some shade to beat the heat. I thought about removing a few of the branches by her head, but then I decided not to.
I especially love the fawn photo. The lush green vegetation and the way it is composed is all so beautiful. Love the spots, too! It's great when you can photograph them when they're so young.
Love the egret with the wings just off of the water. Conveys a sense of flight. Eagle definitely has some attitude.
