Using HSL

I wanted all the color to be on the egret. Since there isn't any green on the egret I desaturated the green. I wish the photos looked as good on Fstoppers as they look on flickr. Greater zoom and detail on flickr.

Nice Egret!

I hear you on the images uploaded here; the algorithm seems a little aggressive for the compression. I preconvert to sRGB and upload as PNG (TIFFs not being supported by the site), and still bump into minor issues. But knowing it's just fstopper's back-end doing what it dose, I glance over it when looking at other photos.

Your 4th shot is the money shot for me, very nice and he(?) got a fish! I will say my ODC is triggering bad looking at this beautiful white bird being so close to that murky-dirty water! :)

I have no issues with colors or compression on this site. My images look the same no matter where I upload them.

With that said, I think you need to take a look at your export settings. Primarily with your color encoding/space/profile. Check out the below.

Yup, what Black Z Eddie said,

In Lightroom (export) you can save as sRGB color space - and though there is no embed option checkbox (anymore, in old versions it was there), it will still embed. In Photoshop (export) the option to save in sRGB and Embed are both there.

There are times where Lightroom will not embed and I feel that's what goofs me up in my rare cases. Not 100% sure what's causing that, prob bouncing in and out of photoshop, topaz and sometimes Luminar... Make sure those options for those plugins (if you have them) are setup properly as well...
