Hey guys, wanted to share some pictures from my weekend trip. Got the chance to see quite a lot of different species, most of which i shot for the first time. My highlight was the wild nutria, which gave me a private photo shooting session =P with quite a lot of pictures, really quite special for me.
I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do. Any feedback is welcome as always, but just keeping in mind the edit on these is not final.
Love the first but think second may have greater final potential. What kind of animal is the first one?
Hey Mike, the first one is the Nutria. Its related to a beaver, biggest difference is the tail and the style of building. Beavers are chewing easily through entire trees, while the Nutria rather collects smaller branches.
Thank you, I learn so much every day.
Picture two is a cormorant. Note how the long neck is folded down on the body. That hooked beak is ideal for capturing swimming prey. That bird extends its long neck and makes extended dives under the water looking for food. They seem to have an agressive attitude.
