Looking for CC

The Eagles are at the local river and I've spent a few days watching and taking photos. I'm looking for CC on my favorite photo of the day. I have a few more weeks of them being on the river and I'm looking to improve my shots.

A little work on the white balance so the eagle's head and tail feathers don't have a bluish tinge. Also, the red on the bird looks a little strange to me.

Great pic. Cool detail ...White balance is a little too cool. Try warming up a little (Are you shooting in AWB or have you dialled in a special temp setting?)
Try to crop in a little more to remove the distraction of the shoreline up top, if you haven't already cropped; then drop the "Blacks" a little, and remove a touch of "shadows" Finish of by brushing the main subject, a little "sharpening" and "texture" to enhance the details...

Yes, I shot this using AWB. Thank you, I'll give it a shot and see how it looks. I think that will make a big difference.

I think this one turned out a lot better than the first one.

Good result with the white balance tweaked

Hi Brett, Sharing my reflection for this story. Its representation of concept and work is yet to be perfect.

Wanted feeling of speed. the bird be the focal subject and the composition to have no distraction. At field similar effect can be achieved ny panning the camera in high speed keeping focus on bird.
Cheers.
