this saltwater crocodile (about 3.5 metres in length) lives in a waterhole close to a shack I own about an hour south of Darwin (Aust)
he's very wary, so getting close is a challenge - and even then, it's a lottery as to how much of him will be in view
I took this shot last week after waiting about an hour - the sun lit up his eye for about a minute (and it was fixed on me)
