The Swallowtails are back at Greentree Park in Kirkwood Mo. I was actually looking for goldfinch with my Canon R5 and 100- 500mm lens when I came upon a grove of thistle and some busy swallowtails. I have found the 100- 500mm does a pretty good job as a macro because of its excellent minimum focusing distance.
