Aerial turf war

When walking at Greentree Park in Kirkwood Mo. I was startled by screeching above my head. As hawks often do four birds mysteriously appeared. They all had their talons extended and aerial combat ensued. It only lasted a minute and I could only snap a few images and by the time I got my camera to my eye the battle had moved a good ways away so these images are cropped heavily. I believe it was a turf war between two mated pairs.
I was using my R5 with the 100 to 500mm. These were shot a F7.1 shutter at 1/2500 sec. ISO 1600.
