Here is a small selection of shots of a bit of australian birdlife. Two of them are galahs ( pink coloured ) , the one preening is a male juvenile australian king parrot, the white one in flight is a sulphur-crested cockatoo and the last is is one of my favourite species: a rainbow lorikeet.
