This is a re-edit of a photo I did in summer '15, with the sunset and Yokohama Skyline in the back. I used one light to camera left with a small 40 cm softbox, at 17mm, ISO 200, 1/250, F8. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks a lot!
Thank you for you comments! Yes, I agree about the face. I worked to fix that in post, but there's only so much I could do while trying to maintain naturalness. The lesson learned here was, take care of the sweat before taking the shot!
I like the idea and the execution done very well. you handled the exposure of the background very well, and the exposure of the subject was also handled very well. My only negative comment is the face looks a little like plastic.....probable direct flash caused this and coupled with some perspiration on the face. Maybe the next time use some light modifier to soften the hash light on her face.
Thank you for your comments! Yes, the face texture, I guess, is a result of the editing. Although I did use frequency separation to keep skin texture, it doesn't show so much.
I personally like it,...her face seems as though she's a tan. That's the only thing that seems off to me. The sun looks great, very colorful.

I agree with Jeffrey and John about the face. It's an issue.. But i love the composition of this image! Well done!
I love the "action" we see here. Many portraits often appear too static. This one has some life to it.
Agree with the others...a little work on the face and neck and you got it.
Thank you for your comments Craig! I'll work on it!
