My first studio test shoot

Hey Everyone,

I'd been itching to get into the studio in my office building for some personal work for a while. Last month, I asked some friends of mine—one of whom is a fantastically talented photographer himself—if they'd be open to helping me out. I'm fortunate enough to work in a place where I have access to not only a space to shoot, but very high quality grip and electric and strobes (we do lots of product and headshot photography).

Anyway, after working through basic compositions I had in mind on paper, and pulling some references from around the web that I'd discussed with my friend who was assisting, here's what I came away with. Almost immediately, I see things I could improve on, but I was proud of putting the time and effort into actually making the idea a reality.
