Hello everybody!
First post here on Fstoppers.
I've been shooting for a little over a year, mostly travel and street photography, but lately my interest has began to shift to portrait and fashion photography. I've still got a long way to go with Photoshop though.
That said, here are a few shots of my very first two attempts at portraiture with two friends. Constructive criticism is highly appreciated!

The indoors are way better.
Not bad for a start, Carla. I would crop the first one to at the bottom to take out the thumb and the white material. They also look kinda flat, so a light source or more contrast in PS. I actually like the third one and the last one would be better if you cropped from the left a bit to take out the stuff on the far left of the scene. Keep shooting, I would like to see more of your work.
Good angles. I agree with D. You need an off camera flash to create more dramatic lighting. The indoor pictures need photoshop to fix the blotchiness on the skin
