Focus Stacking ~ New to Me

Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

This is a solid photo but the food is a small element in the photo. Because of the brightness and central position of the cover, my eye is more drawn to that than the food.
It depends if you are shooting for ambiance or for the food. For the former this isa fine shot, but if you're trying to showcase the food, then you might consider changing the angle and getting closer to the food.
