Cheeky new guy needs some answers...

What's shakin in here y'all?? Totally gonna get beer hammered later and would love to try and answer some questions...

#1 Why do 'photographers' always lighten up the eyes to an unnatural level...

#2 Are dudes included in the portrait group??... cuz all I see are chicks.

#3 If I don't completely blur the background is it still considered a portrait??

#4 How come you never see any baby pigeons?? Seriously... I've never seen one... baby squirrels, baby sparrows, baby hawks... zero pigeons.

#1 Because they need to see their own reflection in the eyes to fulfill their self-absorbed egos.

#2 Feel free to check out my studliness in all of its glory in my profile portrait. This also helps my ego.

#3 Nope, its a landscape with some random person located within.

#4 They are Satan's children that spend their childhood?...pigeonhood? In the depths of hell before they are released to poop on everything within sight.

1.- the eyes and the mouth are the most expressive features in the face ,... the level of lighted has to be on proportion on the other lighted set up ,...
2.- I rather to shoot women than men as I am a straight guy,... you can portrait males if you want it.
3.-there is no rules about it, if you understand the DOF physical law of the light, may be you will blur the background.
4.- portrait is on the human race , pet photography is another genre.

Don't have to be gay to shoot dudes bro... and I don't really understand anything else you said...
