Location: Popei in Eindhoven, PopEi is a music Eindhoven and environment that promotes bands and musicians who focus on pop music in the broadest sense of the word. Popei sits on Strijp-S terrain ,, the former Philips terrain offers many opportunities for photographers to work with light and shadow.

In this picture I used the light that enters the building to the left of the model through large windows. In driving styles, I give them models, one important tip and that is that I want to see a bright spot in at least one eye. By turning his face, the balance of light and shadow so that even in his left eye also see a bright spot is.
Furthermore, additional depth created in the image by letting keep the model with a glass of coffee, which can be seen out of focus in the foreground. This technique is used both in photography as in painting, to enhance additional depth in a photograph or painting. This is called repoussoir in the art world.
