The Main Street Project was originally created by Ethan Bender as a personal, community-driven project. Born from his passion for visual detail, the idea started as a way to create content for his personal portfolio while at the same time giving back to the community.
The plan was simple. Ethan would approach businesses and offer to do an environmental portrait of the owner or a main/ key employee and give the business the photograph gratis. After shooting only two images, Ethan realized that the project could be so much more.
Good work!
Thank you Tihomir
These are fantastic!
Thank you David Ill post more later on in the Project
Great series! I'm interested in doing this as well, just curious if you did get location+model release for you can use the images for your own needs?
Yes I have full releases for all the images. Its very key to protect myself and the the models. Thank you for your intrest in the Project
Since you mentioned models, did you used actual models or the people working there (or actual owners) in the shots?
Its real people in real places of works the fact that they posed for a photo is why I call them model (lack of a better term)
Thank you For your questions!
