Hello, I´m working in my next shoot and I want to try something like this picture but I'm not sure in how work the light, if any of you could help me, that will be great.
You need to make a gobo with a bunch of even lines cut into it or find something that already has a a bunch of lines cut into it. Maybe some old window blinds. Then project a light through it. Those are pretty hard shadows so I'm guessing the light was pretty far back form the gobo. It's definitely going to be a lot of trial and error. Another method which I believe may be the way that image was produced, is to get a projector and create an image with a bunch of black line to project onto your subject. If you have access to a projector that would be the better way to go in my opinion. I think it would be less trial and error.
Some people also call them Lekos or Leko Spotlight. They come with a lens inside that allow you to add the Gobo and get very well defined shapes with the shadows.
I must say now, too, than reading @Justin Berrington comment, I believe that the projector can be a great option. But I would strongly suggest to rent a professional one, with lots of power. Projectors luminance is meassured in LUMENs. Try to find one with a high LUMEN number (if you find a company renting them for events, they usually have strong powerfull ones, and it might be cheaper than the LEKOs)

To achieve the definition of the shadows, you might need to get a light with a lens. Like the lights the use for spot-light in theater. I think is called Elipsoidal Reflector Spotlight:

Thanks, great idea
