Just need some feedback to anyone who does night time or full spectrum photography. I just need some help, am I heading towards the right direction? I used a Sigma Sd14 with no hot mirror and auto balance b/g, ISO 50 and variable F stops and time dealy 5 seconds to 20 seconds. The only photo editing is with Sigma Photo Pro 6, adjust saturation, etc. no Tripod as I was at a conference.
Am I heading in the right direction by just practicing night time photos and cityscapes or should I just give up and sell my camera?
I think you headed somewhere, my only advice is; make sure the buildings are completely verticle if at a distance and make it interesting, hunt for the shot and find your style.
My buddy shoots FS... and he's pretty disappointed with his Sigma F1.4 50mm ART lens... it hotspots in IR and FS. I see that yours is doing the same in the top two images.
In regards to FS at night: I'm not a big fan of the look at night. I think it full spectrum really shines (no pun intended) in full sun with lots of plant life.
