Fake profiles and bad reviews

I have some strange fans. Their profile is without a picture without anything.
Within a short time I have 1 star ratings, no matter what I post. Also 1 star rating on pictures, which are awarded with several awards of various magazines, etc.
What do you do with such fake accounts?

Hmmm.... I've "thumbed up" many of your pictures. Not sure how, or if, that affects the ratings system. If a "thumb up" rates photos at 1 star, I'll stop using the thumbs.

Most of the time when I view an image through my notification feed, all I have are the thumb up/down icons. I rarely have the option to award stars to images.

I think most of your images are great and deserve 4 stars at minimum.

There are different tastes. Also it can always give a scant rating. So life is.

But I have someone who immediately gives 1 star to pictures. As good as always.

Fstoppers has just unfortunately gotten to the size where it no longer offers serious feedback and has attracted the sort of armchair photographers who will down vote everything in an attempt to make their images stand out. I too have noticed images that originally averaged 4-5 stars now shifting towards 2-3 as the number of low scores increases. My advice is to ignore the star rating and instead look at the written feedback people leave you. It's less anonymous so usually more honest. Your shots show a level of skill and imagination above and beyond what most of those leaving 1 star ratings will ever achieve.
Rock on

You're right!

I still wish that fake accounts were searched for devaluation and removed.

indeed, but a lot of them might not be fake accounts, just real people with a sad outlook on life.

I feel your frustration, I have an asshole who rates every single one of my pictures 1 star, for no reason.

It happens a lot sadly, and there's even an Fstoppers author on here with some fake profiles that likes down voting and 1 *'ing people.
